We learned all about the White Handed Gibbons. They have really strong arms because they swing everyday. They are as strong as two grown men.

All week we were able to pick an animal from Critter Outpost to take care of. We picked Skippy the Rabbit.

We worked with Rocky and Roo the Chinchillas. We were able to give them enrichment, which was a box with hay and a bell.

We had Pokey and Sam the Tenrecs. We made a diet for them called mash. We were able to feed it to them and learned how they eat.

Today we met Scout the Screech Owl. We learned that screech owls come from the United States and can be found right here in Lincoln, Nebraska.

We got to see Scout up close! She had amazing eyes. Her eyes are so powerful!

Screech Owls get their name because of the sounds they make. Scout sure proved to use that her name is correct!
